FAQs
What was your role in the Air Force?
I served as an A-10 Warthog pilot, focusing on close air support missions. I was involved in multiple deployments to Afghanistan and eventually became a Lieutenant Colonel and squadron commander.
How long did you serve in the military?
I served nearly 24 years in the United States Air Force before retiring.
What motivated you to start a cattle ranch after retiring?
After years of service, my wife Amanda and I wanted to contribute to our community by providing healthy, locally-sourced beef. It's a way to stay connected to the land and people while following our passion for sustainable living.
Can you tell us about your podcast, the "Dale Stark Show"?
The podcast is a platform where I share stories from my military service and highlight the experiences of others who have served. It's about giving voice to the sacrifices and achievements of our military community.
How do you think your military experience influences your current endeavors?
My military background has given me discipline, leadership skills, and a deep appreciation for teamwork. These values are central to how we run our ranch and engage with our community now.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in the military?
Embrace the opportunity to serve something bigger than yourself, but always remember to take care of yourself and your team. Leadership isn't just about giving orders; it's about building people up and preparing them for life's challenges.
Is your beef grass-fed and grass-finished?
Yes, all our beef is both grass-fed and grass-finished. We believe in natural, sustainable practices that not only benefit the health of our cattle but also the quality of the beef we produce.
How can I get on the waiting list for your beef?
Simply send an email to me, and I'll add you to our waiting list. We'll keep you updated on when our beef will be available and the cost. We sell 1/4, 1/2 or a whole beef.
Where do you sell your beef currently?
For now, we only sell locally along the southern Oregon coast. We're focused on providing the freshest, highest quality beef to our local community.
